Mercedes Rodriguez is a poet and educator from Los Angeles, CA. Winner of The Georgia Review’s Loraine Williams Poetry Prize, their work appears or is forthcoming in New England review, Washington Square Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, like a field, The Los Angeles Review, and elsewhere. Their work has received support from bread loaf, the stadler center for poetry & Literary Arts, and Charleston Literary Festival. They hold an MFA from North Carolina State University.
